<image:caption>As a Certified Farrier with a decade of experience, my practice is set up around putting the horse first and shoeing to the highest standard. The US is one of the only developed countries not requiring certification, our pass rate for certified farrier exams is less than 20%, and these disparities are negatively impacting and underserving the horse. If you are looking for a qualified farrier outside my service area, or if you prefer a male practitioner, please use the find a farrier directory from the American Farrier’s Association website: https://americanfarriers.org/search/ Your horses deserve the best!</image:caption>

<image:caption>My approach to hoof care I work with owners to develop a plan during consultation, when each horse’s unique conformation is evaluated and considered along with their history, lifestyle, and the type of work they perform. Trimming and shoeing methods vary based on these factors but the goal is always to achieve and maintain the optimum balance, comfort, support, and ease of movement for each horse.</image:caption>
